- You're not being ignored. You're being missed.
You're not being ignored. You're being missed.
This is why people “like you”... but don’t hire you.
Quick thought I had this morning…
There are a lot of people out there who are actually very good at what they do…
…and still not getting the level of clients, recognition, or income they should be.
Not because they’re not working hard.
Not because they don’t know enough.
But because something isn’t landing.
The message.
The positioning.
The way the market sees them.
I see this all the time—smart, experienced people who are quietly underperforming relative to their actual ability.
And it’s frustrating as hell when you know you’re better than what your results are showing.
That’s why this caught my attention.
A friend and colleague of mine, Nancy Matthews, is doing a session Tuesday on this exact gap—how to actually be recognized for what you do, instead of constantly trying to prove it.
Not theory.
Not “feel good” motivation.
But why some people get chosen… and others (just as capable) get overlooked.
If that’s something you’ve felt—even a little—it’s probably worth an hour.
Now more than ever, we need to take advantage of ever edge we can.
Think BIG!

PS--I’ve seen people leave 30–50% of potential revenue on the table just from this problem. Nancy has a valuable solution.
