This cost me deals I should’ve closed
I didn’t even realize where I lost it.
I’m gonna reveal something I don’t usually say out loud.
I can stand in front of 5,000 people…
No script. No notes.
And I’m completely comfortable.
But put me in a one-on-one sales call?
Different story.
And it cost me.
Not in a small way either.
I’m talking deals I should’ve closed.
Opportunities that were right there…
…and I didn’t take them.
Not because I didn’t know my offer.
Not because I didn’t know what to say.
But because in the moment…
I didn’t see what was actually happening.
Sometimes I’d hesitate.
Sometimes I’d soften.
Sometimes I’d just… miss it.
And afterward?
I’d know EXACTLY what I should’ve said.
(You know that feeling?)
But during the call?
I wasn’t fully there.
I was in my head… trying to figure it out.
Instead of responding to what was actually happening.
And the worst part?
Sometimes I’d get off a call thinking it went well…
And then the deal would just… disappear.
That’s when it clicked.
This isn’t a knowledge problem.
It’s a visibility problem.
I wasn’t losing deals because I was bad.
I was losing them because I didn’t see it.
I was missing the moment. Missing the clues.
So I built something to fix that.
Not for you.
(At least… not at first.)
I built it for me.
And it changed everything.
Now I go into calls clear.
I stay present.
And I don’t miss what’s happening.
I wasn’t planning on sharing this.
But I’m opening it up. Slowly.
If you want early access:
I’ll explain more in the next email.
If you’ve ever gotten off a call thinking
“I should’ve handled that better…”
You’ll want this.
