Four questions I ask before saying yes to any new opportunity
We're looking at Barry Plaskow's Growbotik model today at 2:00 PM Eastern.
But before we do, here's something you can steal.
Whenever somebody shows me a new business opportunity, I want four questions answered:
1. Where does the money actually come from?
Not projections. Not TAM. Who writes the check?
2. What work am I responsible for?
Because "easy money" has an amusing tendency to become a second full-time job.
3. What happens after the sale?
If I'm responsible for fulfillment, customer service and keeping everybody happy, I need to price that into the opportunity.
4. What asset do I already possess that gives me an advantage?
Audience? Expertise? Distribution? Relationships? Reputation?
That's where today's Growbotik presentation gets interesting for me.
The asset they're attempting to monetize is one many Business Impact readers already possess:
relationships with business owners.
Their proposition is that you create the right connection and their system handles much of what happens afterward.
And because they're dealing with high-value agency engagements rather than $29 products, the potential economics are considerably more interesting than traditional affiliate commissions.
Does it work as advertised?
Good question.
That's why we're showing up.
Join me at 2:00 PM Eastern (11 AM Pacific) and let's find out.
Think BIG!
Ken
P.S. Keep those four questions. They're useful long after today's presentation is over.
